CTI Hostile Environment Research and Development
.:Home:.
History
CTI was incorporated in Texas in 1989. Its primary focus was telecommunications. CTI entered the Internet industry in 1995 and provided internet services for 10 years. During that time, a subsidiary became involved in R&D, developing hostile environment communications systems for Oil Exploration clients. The Internet Services Division was sold in 2005, focusing CTI on Hostile Environment Development.
Specialties
Today's Hostile Environment Embedded Development effort requires unique skills. These skills include System Design as well as Analog, Digitial, Mechanical, Electrical and Software design and implementation. Our engineering team expresses the best of these skill sets.
Corporate Vision
CTI's vision statment is simple. "People are more important than rules." Our employees are our company, but without customers CTI would cease to exist. Therefore, we exist to create solutions for our customers, not roadblocks to getting the job done.
.:Who Are We?
CTI is a unique high technology R&D company with several niche specialties. The first niche is communications. Products our engineers have developed are handling telecommunications issues worldwide. We also specialize in the Hostile Environment Development (HED) in the "embedded" workspace.
HED embedded products require specialized
knowledge and skills.
In addition, acquisition and transmission of the data
gathered by such products to the destination requires a complex mixture
of communications technology and software know-how. CTI's
engineers provide that complex mix, from system design to
implementation.
Our hostile environment development skills include high temperature (to 400 degrees Farenheight), high pressure (20,000 psi) and high vibration products.
CTI's past and present client list includes Marconi Systems, Mobil Oil, Precision Drilling, Weatherford International, and RFNeulink (a division of RF Industries).
